Certified Recycled Content
Recycled content products are made from materials that would otherwise have been discarded. Inputs for recycled content products can come from numerous sources. Old newspapers, for instance, can be utilized in the fabrication of nursery pots and home insulation. Empty plastic milk jugs can be recycled into playground equipment. Industrial metal discards can be recycled into nails, hinges, doorknobs and other hardware.
Products made from pre-consumer or post-consumer material diverted from the waste stream can qualify for the SCS Recycled Content certification.

Certified Biodegradable
Scientific Certification Systems (SCS) provides certification for biodegradable liquid products such as cleaners, degreasers, detergents, and soaps. To be certified biodegradable, 70% of the product formula compound must, under aerobic conditions, break down into carbon dioxide, basic salts and water within 28 days.
