NutriClean, Clean Food, Pesticide Testing

Q: What is NutriClean®? How can I purchase NutriClean products?

The NutriClean® certification program, first introduced in 1986, has established a benchmark for the food industry by identifying fresh foods grown to meet the highest standards of lab-tested purity – pesticide residue free.  NutriClean certification is achievable under both conventional and organic growing methods and is suitable for products headed either for the fresh or processed foods markets.  The NutriClean “Pesticide Residue Free” label is backed by strict scientific protocols for inspection, sampling, and testing and is the most stringent guarantee of product purity in the marketplace today.

Q: What level of product purity do your customers look for in the foods they eat?

Over the past two decades, SCS has developed a series of programs aimed at addressing one of the major health concerns related to food — potential contamination from pesticide residues and other industrial chemicals. SCS’s agricultural products certification division, NutriClean, has pioneered a series of added-value certification and testing services that uniquely address such concerns by highlighting positive accomplishments in the fresh food industry.
