Training and Education
The training of employees and supervisors in proper food handling methods is an essential component of an effective food safety management program. While documentation captures written procedures and practices, employees must be trained in food handling to reduce risk throughout the process flow.
SCS has been conducting food safety classes for over twenty years. SCS’s food safety auditors regularly contribute to the updating of training curricula to ensure that programs incorporate the latest food safety trends and practices. Participants in SCS training classes receive a Certificate of Completion.
