Pesticide Residue Management & Testing
for Agricultural Exports

Scientific Certification Systems’s Pesticide Residue Testing Management service helps you reduce the risk of your shipment being rejected upon arrival.

Importers around the world are now using stringent pesticide residue tests to target specific compounds that are not detected in most multi-residue screens. Companies in the UK, European Union, Japan, Taiwan, Korea, and Australia are now using these tests, which can result in rejection of a shipment or a ban on all products from the exporting company.

By engaging SCS before the planting and growing season starts, you can have certainty that your exports will meet each country’s pesticide residue requirements before shipment.

A pro-active approach to pesticide residue testing for exports

As you plan for the upcoming planting and growing season, SCS will conduct a comprehensive review of your pest management plan.

SCS will use its 20 years of pesticide residue and application data to predict your residue levels. We will then compare your predicted pesticide levels to each country’s maximum residue levels (MRLs) to determine which ones your shipments comply with, and which ones present a risk.

By working directly with your Pesticide Control Advisors (PCAs), SCS can deliver predictability and lowered risk for your entire export.
